Nick Andreou

Vice President of Engineering & Technology

Nick Andreou holds a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from GMI (Kettering University) and a Master’s in Engineering Management from the University of Detroit Mercy, combining an MBA with advanced manufacturing studies. His commitment to lifelong learning includes post‑graduate project management coursework at the Harvard Business School Executive Programs.

He is a PMP‑certified professional, a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario, a Certified Instructor of Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Successful People, and a graduate of both the Dr. Karrass Negotiation Program and Dale Carnegie Public Speaking.

During his 30‑year career at General Motors, his graduate thesis on manufacturing productivity became standard operating procedure across GM. He served as Chief Engineer for the 1992 “J” Car and later founded GM’s first Virtual Factory group, pioneering early Digital Twin applications to improve manufacturing performance. After GM, he led engineering organizations across startups and multimillion‑dollar enterprises.

His leadership philosophy centers on collaboration, analytical clarity, and accountability. He values diverse perspectives, uses data to navigate complexity, and empowers teams through a “trust but verify” mindset.

Outside of work, he is most proud of his family—married nearly 50 years, with three driven adult children. He enjoys home improvement projects, gardening, hands‑on tools and trucks, active sports, and unwinding at the piano—a passion he has passed on to his children.
