Summary:
Process payrolls and associated reports as directed by the Payroll Manager and Controller.
Reports to: Payroll Manager
Qualifications:
- Experience in processing payroll (3 years expierence required)
- Experience in preparation fringe benefit reports preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
a. Process weekly and layoff payrolls for all Field Employees.
b. Time entry uploads for all field employees.
c. Monthly labor union reporting – preparation and payment.
d. Maintain Site Reporting (new hires, jobs, units, unions, rates, etc …)
e. Respond to and prepare for union fringe benefit audits.
f. Prepare estimate-selling rates for review.
g. Maintain field employee data in payroll software (new hires, unions, rates and benefits).
h. Maintain field payroll data in Payroll spreadsheet.
i. Respond to and maintain Child Support Orders and Garnishments for all field employees.
j. Review and respond to correspondence from labor unions and field employees regarding their pay.
k. Monthly reporting of new hire information to all state agencies.
l. Respond to unemployment inquiries.
m. Quarterly reporting of hours worked to NMAPC.
n. Support Admin and Shop pay runs as needed
o. Special projects as required by management.
