Overhead Cable Link (OHCL) Systems are very similar to OHM conveyors, but are designed for lighter loads. The trolleys on an OHCL system are linked together and driven by individual steel cables instead of chain.
DMW offers OHCL conveyors in 2 (50.8 mm) track size. Using double trolleys and a load bar, loads up to 200 lbs. ( 90.72 kg. ) on level track and 150 lbs. (68.04 kg.) on inclined track (up to 45 degrees), can be conveyed.
OHCL systems are engineered to permit rapid changes for the Plant s operational requirements. Trolleys, links, turns, and vertical curves can be combined to offer maximum movement in both vertical and horizontal directions to meet any production requirement.
Made up of simple components, and quickly installed, OHCL conveyors are unmatched in their low installation and maintenance cost. Greatly reduced friction requires less horsepower resulting in lower operating cost and longer life.
