Administration and Governance

 

Johnson Kachidza
Chairman of the Board

Johnson Kachidza serves as Managing Principal of Knox Lawrence International.   In addition to the Chairman of the Board for DMW, he is a Board member of Consonus Technologies.

Kachidza has over 14 years experience in finance and operations, including principal investing.  He previously served as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch where he had direct involvement in over $10 billion of M&A and financing transactions.

As an engineer with GE, Kachidza became the holder of US patent #5,686,795 for a product design in fluorescent lamp technology size. 

Kachidza is a graduate of the University of Chicago where he received his Masters of Business Administration.  He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Master of Science in Materials Engineering and from Knox College with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry.

 

 

Stephen Adik
Chairman DMW Operations Committee
 

Steve Adik formerly served as Vice Chairman, CFO, and Treasurer of NiSource Inc., a multi-billion dollar Fortune 500 Company.  He has extensive experience managing large organizations, integrating complex M&A transactions, including an $8.5 billion acquisition of Columbia Energy Group, while being a direct driver of profitability and cost synergies. 

Adik is a graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology with Mechanical Engineering and of Northwestern University with a Masters of Business Administration.

 

 

Nana Baffour
DMW Compensation Committee
 

Nana Baffour serves as Managing Principal of Knox International.  In addition to the DMW Compensation Committee, he is Chairman of Consonus Technologies and a Board Member of the UK-based Vertex Data Science, Ltd.

As an investment banker with Credit Suisse First Boston in Europe and the US, he had direct involvement in over $10 billion of M&A and financing transactions.  With over 10 years of finance experience including 3 years as a credit analyst, 2 years as an equity analyst and 3 years as a principal investor, Baffour brings a great deal of finance and transactional experience to the DMW Board.

Baffour is a graduate of New York University, Stern School of Business with a Masters of Business Administration.  He graduated from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte with a Master of Science in Economics and from Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

 

  BN Bahadur
Chairman DMW Compensation Committee
 

BN Bahadur is a Founder and Principal of BBK (www.e-bbk.com), an international business advisory firm providing financial, strategic and operational support to clients since 1977. 

Bahadur’s experience includes over a quarter century in business management, accounting, teaching and consulting.  He possesses broad expertise in the automotive industry, manufacturing, steel, transportation, retail, commercial construction, finance and mortgage lending.  In addition, he has served in several key executive level positions including Chairman, CEO, CFO, Debtor-In-Possession and Trustee in Corporate Reorganization.

He is currently an investor while also serving on several boards including those of charitable organizations.

 

  Robert Braun
DMW Operations Committee
 

Bob Braun is a Founder and Principal of Genesys Engineering (www.genesysengineering.net).   The company performs the study, design, construction, and commissioning of energy, utilities and renewable fuel projects.

Braun has held several significant roles including Vice President of Engineering at KeySpan and Principal of Braun Engineering Associates, P.C. (acquired by KeySpan in 1997).  Under his ownership and direction, Braun Engineering Associates, P.C. grew into a prominently recognized mechanical and electrical engineering firm, successfully providing high quality engineering, design, and construction services to complex power and energy system projects.

For over a quarter century, Braun has built his professional profile of utility projects with plant financing and ownership, operations, construction management, and power systems engineering and design for both new facilities as well as major utility system upgrades.

 

  Anthony Leness
Chairman DMW Audit Committee
 

Tony Leness serves as the current Director and member of Audit and Investment Committees for Laclede Gas Group.  Leness has held numerous key roles including Managing Director of Global Power and Energy Group with Merrill Lynch and Senior Vice President with Energy Group at White Weld & Co. (acquired by Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc.).

He has also served as Lieutenant of the US Navy and JG Combat Information Officer on the USS English DD 696 based in Norfolk, VA.

Leness is a graduate of Harvard College with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Cum Laude in General Studies, with a major in Nuclear Physics.

 

 

Eric Rogoff
DMW Audit Committee
 

Eric Rogoff is a Partner at Falcon Investment Advisors (www.falconinvestments.com), a leading provider of mezzanine and private equity capital in support of buyouts, growth and acquisition, recapitalizations and restructurings.  He serves as Chairman of the Boards of Flatiron Services Holding Group Inc.and RoadSafe Traffic Systems, Inc., and is a Director of Shari’s Management Corporation.

Rogoff’s experience includes a role as Executive Director in the Leveraged Finance/Merchant Banking Group of CIBC World Markets Corp.

Rogoff is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
